On June 9th, LucasArts will release Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings for the Wii.

For fans of the whip-happy hero, this is great news. Yes, there is already a pretty fun Indiana Jones Lego Wii game, but it’s kind of like controlling Indy as a kindergartner. “Staff of Kings” looks a little closer to the kind of action that folks who don’t use cubbyholes will enjoy.

It’s got everything a good gamer is looking for: seamless, fast-paced action sequences. Bad guys with stylish eye patches. And single bullets causing nuclear-level car explosions. Hey, any Indy experience is an upgrade after the Indy 4 movie.

For those gamers who may not get out much to find adventure, the creators of the game say “It will allow you to feel more like Indy than ever.” After you brush off the Cheez Puff crumbs.
