Oh, terrific.

The day starts off great.  Refreshed from a good night's sleep.  You start the new TP roll without incident.  You barely spill any coffee on your shirt.  And then news like this hits:  PAULA HAS LEFT IDOL!

Apparently Fox offended Paula with an offer in the tens of millions of dollars and a 30 percent raise.

I think we can all sympathize with Paula.  Who among us doesn't believe big celebs deserve more cash?  Don't the powers that be know the sheer joy that stars bring into our lives?  I say we demand that whatever stars are getting right now be multiplied by 10.  And that goes for website co-hosts too!

To be fair, Paula was an important part of the raging success "AI" is today, and when all is said and done I think the show will probably end up missing her.
