With “Wolverine” clawing it’s way (YES!  Worked in a terrible pun!) to $87 million this weekend, I got to thinking what are the flicks I’m most geeking out about seeing in the near future:

• Star Trek (May 8) – Oh right.  Like you aren’t the least bit curious how Spock ends up with freak ears.
• Terminator Salvation (May 21) – The guy who played Batman playing the guy that romps Skynet?  Save me a seat.
• Up (May 29) – Uh, it’s Pixar.  And a grumpy old dude.  You do the math.
• Land of the Lost (June 5) – This ‘70s series was where the word “cheesy” originated. Go ahead, check Wikipedia! Will Ferrell + cheesetastic = supersize the popcorn.
• Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (June 24) – I’ll check this out then wait for the inevitable 2012 summer release “Terminator vs. Transformers: Really Angry Robots That Can’t Quite Seem to Conquer Earth Despite Their Wildly Superior Technology”.
