| For the Love of Ranch Dressing |

Well, in 1954 a dude ranch opened up in California called "Hidden Valley Ranch". The guy that started it all, Steve Henson, began selling a dressing to his guests that he had developed in Alaska, because we all know that the best ranch is made of polar bear. The dressing caught on and now is über popular. According to the Association for Dressing and Sauces it became to king of dressing in 1992 when it beat Italian for America's favorite salad topping. And pickle topping. Not only that, but apparently, according to Tryitwithranch.com it actually goes well on a plate of gizzards and Chex Mix! Others are known to actually have a glass of the buttermilk concoction with dinner! A glass! So now for my personal opinion about where to find the best ranch: Chili's. Seriously, those guys know ranch dressing. If anybody knows where I can get a richer, tastier ranch, let me know in the comment section below! |

Kara made a delicious calzone the other day that I thought needed a little something. So I popped open a bottle of ranch, and drenched it. Question: How come EVERYTHING tastes better when it's drenched in ranch? Where does this magical white liquid come from? Seriously, I put ranch on everything, except sweet stuff of course.
